to-the-point: Solar parks totalling 105 MW start operation in Russia

November 14 (Solar) – Russian solar company Hevel LLC said today that two solar parks in Orenburg Oblast, equipped with 105 MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules supplied by it, have been completed ahead of schedule.

The 60-MW Uran solar power plant in Sorochinsk district and the 45-MW Neptun facility in Novosergievsky district have been put into operation by Russian power producer T Plus, part of the Renova Group. The company initiated construction in February 2018 and was supposed to complete the process early next year.

In its statement, Hevel noted that the capacity of the two plants is enough to cover the load of both districts in full.
