to-the-point: Trina Solar to equip 190-MW Spanish project


November 2 (Solar) – Trina Solar Ltd has won a 190-MW order in Spain for its integrated photovoltaic (PV) solution, called TrinaPro.

Cobra, a subsidiary of Spanish group ACS (BME:ACS), will use the TrinaPro system for a 190-MW solar project in Alcazar, Ciudad Real province. The solution that will be supplied by Trina Solar consists of 560,000 units of TSM-PE14H multicrystalline half-cut cell modules and the corresponding 6,206 single-axis trackers.

The developers of the project expect the facility to go online by the end of next year. Upon completion, it will be the first in Europe to use the particular solution by Trina Solar, the announcement says.
