China's GCL-SI equips 21-MW solar park in Hungary

October 9 (Solar) – Bulgaria-based EPC firm Solarpro Holding AD has built a 21-MW photovoltaic (PV) park in Hungary for Swiss MET Group using solar modules supplied by GCL System Integration Technology Co Ltd (SHE:002506), or GCL-SI.

The Chinese solar products company said today it has successfully delivered 21 MW of Poly Perc modules for the MET Dunai Solar Park project in Szazhalombatta, near Budapest. The solar park is located partially on the site of the Dunamenti Power Plant and consists of two single sub-projects taking up a total of 40 hectares (99 acres).

The facilities can generate a total of 25,546 MWh per year, enough to cover the annual consumption of about 9,000 homes, according to the announcement.
