September 13 (Solar) – Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology Co Ltd has received an order to deliver 64.6 MW of N-type monocrystalline bifacial solar modules to a unit of China's State Power Investment Corp, or SPIC.
The manufacturer, which is part of Jolywood (Suzhou) Sunwatt Co Ltd (SHE:300393), will sell the modules at a price of CNY 2.65 (USD 0.39/EUR 0.33) per unit, for a total contract value of CNY 171.3 million. The equipment will be used by SPIC subsidiary Haixing New Energy as part of the government's National Photovoltaic Leader Project.
The manufacturer has already secured CNY 400 million worth of orders from the Chinese group in the latter’s latest call for bids for the first batch of capacity under the National Photovoltaic Leader Project. Jolywood will compete for more contracts, it noted.
The solar equipment maker is also currently producing 100 MW of modules for SPIC's Sihong projects, the contracts for which it received earlier this year.
