August 24 (Solar) – US renewables firm Greenwood Energy said on Wednesday it has finalised two solar project portfolio financing with the local arm of Japan’s Orix Corp (TYO:8591).
The company gave no details about the projects in question. It said that Marathon Capital advised it on the transaction.
Greenwood Energy is the North American solar power investment and development subsidiary of privately owned international business group Libra. Since 2010, it has developed 36 solar projects across eight US states with a combined capacity exceeding 100 MW.
