August 24 (Solar) – JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) said today it has won a 240-MW solar module supply order from PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corporation Ltd for the second phase of the 420-MW Dau Tieng solar project in Vietnam.
The particular project is being developed by Vietnam's Xuan Cau Co Ltd and Thailand's B.Grimm Power Public Co Ltd (SET:BGRIM), while PowerChina Huadong serves as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor.
The plant is being built in Tay Ninh in the southwestern part of the country. It was previously reported that the solar park should enter commercial operations in June 2019. It will be receiving a feed-in tariff (FiT) of USD 0.0935 (EUR 0.0807) per kWh for 20 years.
Upon completion, the Dau Tieng solar plant will be the largest one in Southeast Asia, according to the announcement.
