August 2 (Solar) – Spanish solar products maker Soltec Renewable Energies announced today that it will deliver trackers for two photovotaic (PV) projects in Israel, with a combined capacity of 17 MW.
Specifically, Soltec is supplying 534 units of its new SF7 single-axis tracker and 64 units of the SF7 Bifacial, Soltec stated in its press release.
The two PV plants, located in the regions of Bnei Shimon and Merhavim, are being developted by El-Mor Renewable Energies. Soltec started manufacturing trackers specifically designed for bifacial panels back in 2015, when it worked on a project at Chile's La Silla observatory.
The company has supplied and installed more than 400 MW of trackers to PV plants in desert areas of six countries, it noted.
