July 19 (Solar) – Madrid-based solar developer Dhamma Energy said today it has sold a 108-MWp shovel-ready solar project in Mexico to local asset manager Prana Power for an undisclosed sum.
Dhamma Energy has developed the particular project alongside SunPower in the state of Guanajuato under the self-consumption scheme before the Energy Reform. The project comprises two installations in the same location that have private power purchase agreements (PPAs) in place. Both solar parks should become operational by the end of next year.
Just recently, Dhamma Energy sold another self-consumption scheme in Mexico, of 37-MWp capacity, to Balam Fund. This asset is located in the state of San Luis Potosi.
At present, Dhamma Energy’s Mexican solar project pipeline surpasses 1 GWp, including 300 MWp that hold all the permits required to begin construction.
