July 5 (Solar) – Chinese solar power company ZNShine PV-Tech Co Ltd, or ZNShine Solar, has won an order for the supply of 37.5 MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules to India’s Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (NSE:BHEL).
Under the terms of the deal, 10% of the shipment will include graphene-coating solar panels, which have self-cleaning properties. The supplier should execute the whole contract by October.
ZNShine Solar intends to expand in the Indian market and has plans to build an integrated production line there with a local partner, according to managing director Qian Li.
“As of June, our total shipments to India have reached to approximately 1 GW, making ZNShine one of this market's major suppliers of PV modules,” Li stated.
ZNShine Solar currently has a total module production capacity of 3.2 GW.
